Partner Network Framework

Effective Date: 3 July 2026

This Partner Network Framework explains how Strategin Consulting Group Limited ("SCG", "we", "our" or "us") selects, reviews and introduces organisations within our partner network. SCG's partner network exists to provide clients with access to independent specialists, professional providers and strategic opportunities that extend beyond SCG's own areas of expertise. SCG does not operate as an open marketplace. Organisations are considered individually based on their expertise, reputation, governance, service standards and alignment with SCG's professional expectations. This Framework should be read together with our Investment & Regulatory Disclaimer, Terms of Use and Complaints & Resolution Policy.

1. Purpose of the Partner Network

The purpose of the SCG Partner Network is to help clients access relevant expertise in areas where specialist knowledge, licensing, experience or technical capability may be required. The modern information environment has made it easier than ever to research providers, compare services and obtain apparently authoritative answers. Artificial intelligence has accelerated this further. A provider can now produce sophisticated language, polished strategies, impressive presentations and highly persuasive marketing at speed which creates a new problem: it can be increasingly difficult to distinguish between:

  • genuine expertise and well-written positioning

  • demonstrated capability and confident claims

  • meaningful experience and manufactured authority

  • actual market results and marketing language

  • providers using technology to improve their work and providers using technology primarily to appear more capable than they are

AI-generated information can also create a false sense of confidence. A system may produce a polished comparison or recommendation while lacking the context necessary to understand a client's actual objectives, circumstances, priorities or tolerance for risk. It may also simply reinforce the information presented to it, agree with a provider's own claims or produce an answer that sounds reasonable without possessing independent market judgement. SCG exists to address gaps like this:

  • difficulty identifying reputable providers

  • fragmented professional services

  • lack of coordination between different specialists

  • difficulty comparing opportunities or solutions

  • uncertainty regarding professional fees, timelines, governance processes and client responsibilities

  • uncertainty regarding the questions to ask before engaging a specialist

  • difficulty distinguishing genuine expertise from effective marketing

SCG provides human strategic context, market awareness and educational resources designed to help clients approach these decisions with greater understanding and clarity.

2. Our Role

SCG acts as an independent strategic consulting firm that identifies and introduces clients to relevant specialists and providers. Our role may include:

  • understanding a client's strategic objectives

  • identifying relevant areas of expertise

  • considering which types of provider may be relevant to the requirement

  • providing educational resources

  • explaining considerations clients should evaluate before engagement

  • helping clients prepare for discussions with specialists

  • facilitating introductions where appropriate

SCG's role is not to replace specialist expertise or make regulated decisions on behalf of clients. Our value lies in applying human judgement and market context to the process of identifying relevant expertise. This may include understanding a provider's reputation, experience, working style, professional standing and demonstrated capability in relation to the type of problem or opportunity under consideration. SCG may consider whether an organisation has produced meaningful outcomes, developed relevant expertise or demonstrated capability in the areas for which it is being considered. The existence of a polished website, sophisticated marketing materials, extensive online content or AI-generated authority does not, by itself, establish professional competence.

Following an introduction, the client relationship is established directly between the client and the relevant provider. SCG does not manage, supervise or control the services provided by independent third parties.

3. Partner Selection Principles

SCG considers organisations for its partner network based on factors including:

  • professional expertise

  • relevant experience

  • demonstrated capability

  • reputation and market standing

  • regulatory status where applicable

  • governance standards

  • operational capability

  • transparency

  • communication standards

  • client service approach

  • alignment with SCG's values and professional expectations

Where relevant, SCG may consider the provider's experience in delivering meaningful outcomes in the area for which the provider is being considered. This does not mean that SCG guarantees the provider's future performance or that past results will be repeated. It means that the distinction between what an organisation says it can do and what it has demonstrated the ability to do may be relevant to our assessment.

SCG seeks relationships based on a fair value exchange, where clients receive appropriate expertise and support while partners demonstrate professionalism, integrity and a commitment to delivering quality service. SCG's partner relationships are built around respect, hospitality and professional standards consistent with the experience expected from a boutique advisory environment.

4. Human Judgement in an AI-Enabled Environment

AI may be a useful tool for research, analysis, administration and decision support. It can help identify information, summarise materials and compare stated characteristics. However, AI output is not inherently independent, accurate or objective. An AI system may:

  • rely on incomplete or outdated information

  • reproduce a provider's own marketing claims

  • mistake visibility for expertise

  • give undue weight to polished language

  • agree with the assumptions presented to it

  • generate confident conclusions without sufficient evidence

  • fail to understand the client's actual objectives or priorities

SCG therefore does not regard AI-generated information, provider marketing or automated comparisons as substitutes for appropriate human judgement. Where relevant, SCG provides a human perspective informed by strategic experience, market awareness and knowledge of the professional environment in which a provider operates. This may include asking questions such as:

  • Does the provider genuinely have the relevant expertise?

  • Is the claimed capability supported by meaningful experience?

  • Does the provider understand the type of problem presented?

  • Is its approach aligned with the client's actual objectives?

  • Is the proposed solution proportionate to the requirement?

  • Is the provider's professional reputation consistent with its public positioning?

  • Does the relationship represent an appropriate fair value exchange?

These considerations do not constitute regulated financial, investment, legal, tax or other professional advice. They form part of SCG's strategic and relationship-based approach to identifying relevant specialists.

5. Partner Due Diligence Framework

SCG applies due diligence procedures before establishing partner relationships. The depth and frequency of review depends on factors including:

  • the nature of the services provided

  • regulatory requirements

  • jurisdiction

  • product or service complexity

  • risk profile

  • available information

SCG uses two primary review approaches.

6. Know Your Financial Intermediary (KYFI)

For financial institutions, investment providers and other organisations operating within regulated financial sectors, SCG applies a Know Your Financial Intermediary ("KYFI") review process. KYFI is designed to understand the organisation's:

  • regulatory status and licences

  • corporate structure

  • ownership and management information

  • governance framework

  • compliance approach

  • complaints procedures

  • operational history

  • professional standing

  • jurisdictional considerations

Where relevant, SCG may also consider the organisation's experience, market standing and demonstrated capability in the area in which it is being considered. KYFI supports SCG's internal assessment of whether a relationship aligns with our standards before introductions are considered. KYFI does not constitute a guarantee, endorsement or assurance of the future performance, solvency or conduct of any organisation.

7. Corporate Due Diligence (CDD)

For non-financial partners and professional specialists, SCG applies appropriate Corporate Due Diligence ("CDD") procedures. CDD may consider:

  • company registration information

  • ownership and leadership information

  • professional experience

  • reputation

  • service capability

  • operating history

  • relevant qualifications or credentials

  • client service standards

  • the organisation's demonstrated capability in the relevant field

The purpose of CDD is to understand the organisations with which SCG develops professional relationships and to support informed introductions.

8. Partner Review and Ongoing Monitoring

Partner relationships are not static. SCG may periodically review partners and may conduct additional enquiries where circumstances change or concerns arise. Reviews may consider:

  • changes in ownership or management

  • regulatory developments

  • complaints received

  • changes in reputation

  • changes in services offered

  • material changes affecting the relationship

  • information that may call into question the organisation's continued suitability for inclusion within the network

SCG may decline, suspend or terminate relationships where organisations no longer meet our internal standards, ethical expectations or governance requirements. Any decision regarding partner relationships is made according to SCG's internal review processes and governance procedures.

9. How Introductions Work

The general introduction process is:

  • A client identifies an area of interest, opportunity or strategic requirement.

  • SCG provides relevant educational information and context.

  • SCG considers whether a relevant specialist or provider exists within its network.

  • Where appropriate, SCG introduces the client to the relevant provider.

  • The client engages directly with the provider under separate terms and conditions.

Before an introduction, SCG may provide educational resources designed to help clients prepare for discussions, including:

  • questions to ask specialists

  • factors to consider before engagement

  • information to understand regarding pricing, timelines and responsibilities

  • considerations regarding governance and expectations

  • matters the client may wish to clarify before making a decision

The purpose of this preparation is to help clients participate more effectively in their own decision-making. SCG's purpose is to improve the quality of the decision-making process, not to make decisions on behalf of clients.

10. Client and Partner Relationship

Following an introduction, the client and provider establish their own independent relationship. The relevant provider remains responsible for:

  • its services

  • advice or recommendations provided

  • regulatory obligations

  • client onboarding

  • contractual arrangements

  • professional standards

  • complaints procedures

SCG does not act as an agent, representative, adviser or intermediary for the provider unless expressly agreed under a separate written engagement. SCG does not guarantee that a provider will accept a client, provide a particular service, achieve a particular result or meet any expectation formed by the client.

11. Ongoing Strategic Consulting Relationships

A client may separately engage SCG for strategic consulting services. Any consulting relationship with SCG remains separate from relationships established with members of the partner network. SCG maintains appropriate confidentiality and professional boundaries between separate engagements. Where a client requests strategic support regarding a provider relationship or decision, such assistance will only be provided where it falls within the agreed scope of SCG's consulting engagement and does not involve regulated advice.

12. Commercial Relationships

Some partner relationships may involve commercial arrangements, including referral fees where an introduction results in a completed engagement. Any such arrangements are managed transparently and in accordance with SCG's Investment & Regulatory Disclaimer. Commercial arrangements do not determine which partners SCG selects or introduces. Partner selection remains based on professional assessment, client relevance, expertise, reputation and alignment with SCG's standards.

13. Partner Standards and Ethical Expectations

SCG expects members of its partner network to:

  • operate with professionalism and integrity

  • provide transparent information

  • maintain appropriate qualifications, licences or authorisations where required

  • treat clients fairly and respectfully

  • maintain appropriate complaint handling processes

  • communicate clearly regarding services, fees, timelines and obligations

  • comply with applicable laws and professional standards

SCG also expects relationships within the network to reflect a fair value exchange. Professional fees, costs, timelines and responsibilities should be communicated with reasonable clarity so that clients can make informed decisions about whether to proceed. Concerns regarding partner conduct may be reviewed through SCG's internal governance, due diligence and KYFI or CDD processes.

14. Limitations of SCG Responsibility

SCG carefully considers organisations before establishing partner relationships. However, no due diligence process, human assessment or technological tool can eliminate all commercial, investment, operational or professional risks. SCG does not guarantee:

  • the performance of any partner

  • the success of any opportunity

  • the quality of services provided by independent organisations

  • the achievement of a client's personal, financial or business objectives

SCG's assessment of a provider is based on information and circumstances available at the time of review. Circumstances may subsequently change. Clients remain responsible for conducting their own assessment and obtaining independent professional advice where appropriate before entering into any agreement or transaction.
